We can spend most of our lives seeking happiness by trying to accumulate all of the things we think will make us happy, and trying to get rid of all of the things we think will make us unhappy. When we take a deeper look, we realize that we're no closer to happiness than we were before. Why? Buddha teaches us true happiness is within our reach, but its causes can only be found by turning inward and learning to improve the quality of our own minds. Through meditation practice, over time, we gain the ability to remain at ease with whatever life throws at us. No prior meditation experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome!
