WHAT’S UNDER THE HOOD

Do we really know what’s under the hood of our car? It usually takes a problem to arise for us to concern ourselves with it, and then we have someone else fix it!  Wouldn't it be better to have regular checkups, than to wait for a crisis to unfold? Better yet, wouldn't it be more beneficial to know what’s really going on under there?

Just like a car, the mind has many parts that need to be in good working order for us to have the best possible experience in this life. We can use meditation as our maintenance checkups, and Buddha's teachings on the mind as our repair manual. This prepares us to drive more safely and confidently through the twists and turns of life.
