Half-day Silent Retreat. What the World Needs Now: Lovingkindness

How can we help in these difficult times? To the best of our ability, we can be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Take a rest from all your devices and spend a day focusing on the healing power of love.

We’ll explore how through meditation we can open to the healing power of love, enabling us to transform our negative beliefs about self and others.  We’ll learn how authentic love can empower us to transform our relationships and guide us through difficult times, personal and global.

The day will include an introduction to meditation and silent retreat, some exploration of Buddha’s teachings on authentic love, and three guided meditation sessions on lovingkindness. We’ll have time for questions and discussion at the end. 

10am-3:30pm (with two breaks between meditation sessions)

*We recommend bringing your own lunch so you can maintain silence throughout the day. (Fridge space available.)
